Structural Shoring and Support
Structural Shoring - This is typically needed when structural columns or walls are being removed and the roof or floor structure needs to remain intact and safe until the new columns or wall structure is constructed.
Temporary Shoring - While most shoring is temporary, we have encountered projects where shoring positions only need to be installed for a few hours and then removed. For example, a crane needed to be positioned on top of a parking garage to install material into a high-rise unit. The crane process only took a few hours, however there was concern that the crane may place unnecessary stress on the structure below causing failure. We installed shoring systems directly under the outriggers of the crane before the lift. Once the lift was complete, we removed all shoring from the site. This is just one example of the specialized shoring we can assist you with.
